Chelsea's of New York now charges a re-stocking fee for returns on evening gowns, cocktail gowns, dresses and costumes that are custom made or "made at the time of order". Made to order items with a price up to $75 will be charged a re-stocking fee of $35. Made to order items $75.01 to $99 will be charged a re-stocking fee of $45. Made to order items $100 and over will be charged a re-stocking fee of $60.
These "made to order" gowns and dresses can be identified with the following letters in the item number: "P", "SS", "HG", "BO" or "KC". No exceptions. Evening gown returns must be unworn, and also adhere to our return guidelines posted on our "Return Policy" page. Unfortunately, this new policy is due to customer abuse of our lenient return policy.
